Bratoš wines was founded by Miho Bratoš, a long-time manager of a local winery, in order to focus the family's love of wine production on preserving the indigenous grape variety of Dubrovnik Malvasia and producing top Croatian wine.

The vineyards of the Bratoš family are located in the southeastern part of the historic Konavle field cultivated in the time of the Dubrovnik Republic, protected by the Sniježnica mountain from strong Dinaric winds.

“Our task, that is to say the task of the new generation of Konavle winegrowers and winemakers, is to preserve the old knowledge about red soil and limestone rocks on which our vineyards are planted, aromatic plants that grow next to them, the river Ljuta, frost, storm and south to modern technology from grapes.“
